Balance

Another element I chose to experiment with is the element of balance.  All I did was add another wine bottle to the photo. By doing this I made the photos symmetrical.  I feel like it makes you focus more on the wine glass which is neat because it is the smaller of the objects.

Color

Another element that I worked with while taking some picture is the element of color.  I decided to stay simple and just put different colors of kitchen towels next to the bottle and glass.  Surprisingly, each different color makes the photograph very different.  They each add a little flare to the photos.  The pink cloth is my favorite because it brings out the pink in the bottle labels.

Line

One of the elements I decided to work with was that of lines.  I went all around my house and yard to try to find some good lines that would put focus onto the bottle and wine glass.  Low and behold, I was walking all around on the best lines.  I decided to take a few different photos with different positions of the wine glasses.  The three photos I chose put the focus on the bottle and glass while pleasing the eye at the same time.

Light

One of the photo elements that I chose to work with was light.  I was really attracted to the shadow effect that different light had on the bottle of wine and the glass. I started working with different colors of light and seeing what the outcome would be.  I really liked the basic light bulb because it let the true color of the bottle be depicted in the shadow.  I also directed to different spot light to the bottle and glass and loved the double shadow effect I received.  I then decided to go ahead and do a blue spot light from the bottom and thought that it gave the photo a neat and dark aspect.
